2nd Tour of Croatia International Cycling Race to be Held in April

A number top cyclists will take part in the 2nd Tour of Croatia race in April…

After a very successful first edition, the 2nd Tour of Croatia international cycling race is set to be held from 19 – 24 April 2016.

The race, which is classified as a first category race by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), just one level below the biggest tour races such as Tour de France, Giro di Italia and Vuelta a España, will be held on a 1,150 kilometre route along the Adriatic coast, Istria and inland Croatia over 6 stages.

Race will be through 1,150 km of Croatia

Last year’s stages included Makarska-Split, Šibenik-Zadar, NP Plitvice-Učka, Pula-Umag, Saint Martin- Zagreb, and the was excellent promotion of Croatia as images were beamed around the world.
