24th Croatian Film Days to Start

keThe 24th edition of Croatian Film Days (DHF) gets underway in the capital Zagreb on Thursday…

This year’s edition, which will feature 73 short and medium-length animated, experimental and documentary films, will be held at cinemas Kino Europa and Kino Tuškanac from 23 – 26 April. The main competition will see 19 short fiction films, 11 animated films, 8 experimental films, 15 documentaries and 20 corporate films compete.

Apart from an array of films, there will also be a workshop held this year titled “How to develop and present projects in the initial stage for the international market”, and also the Golden Octavian for Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to painter, writer, screenwriter, director and set designer Zeljko Senecic.

The Croatian Film Days are a national festival founded in 1991 devoted to showcasing Croatia’s annual production of short- and medium-length feature, documentary, experimental, animated and commercial films.
