1 Million Tourists Visit Zagreb for First Time in History


Clare Morrison from the UK is Zagreb’s 1,000,000th tourist…

Morrison, who was visiting Croatia for the first time, was Zagreb’s one millionth tourist in 2015. It was the first time in the city’s history that it achieved the milestone.

Being voted the number one Christmas Market destination in Europe this year has helped the city achieve excellent December results. The first two weeks of Advent in Zagreb has bought in more tourists than the whole month of December last year. In 2015 there has been a 20% increase in the number of tourists compared to 2014.
