Zagreb’s Main Square to Turn into One Big Dance Floor

mailZagreb’s main Ban Jelačić square will turn into one big dance floor this Tuesday…

On 14 July locals and tourists in the heart of downtown Zagreb will have a chance to bust a move as Ban Jelačić square plays host to a music-dance event as part of Rendez-vous – festival of France in Croatia.

Le Plesnjak, held on French National Day, where the French commemorate the beginning of the French Revolution with the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, is an event based on similar events in Paris and other cities around the world and will for the first time be held in Zagreb. Well known French dancer Nicolas Quesnoit will warm the square-turned dance floor up from 19:30, with the public invited to join in and dance to some famous French hits.
