Zagreb Public Bike System Ready To Roll

The first public bike system in the Croatian capital Zagreb will be unveiled next week. On Tuesday 14 May at 11am the first of six public bike stations will become operational in front of the Technical Museum in downtown Zagreb.

The community bike sharing project is part of the City of Zagreb’s plan to develop bike usage for short-distance trips in the city centre and reduce traffic congestion and the burden on other forms of public transport. The bikes will be able to be rented at an affordable price and left at one of the six stations located across the city. (pic: nextbike.hr)
