Zagreb International Airport Welcomes Millionth Passenger

Zagreb international airport’s one millionth passenger is Marija Maras from Zagreb. Maras become the airport’s one millionth passenger on Wednesday, one day earlier than when the milestone was reached last year.

Whilst marking the milestone on Wednesday, the airport announced that the number of passengers to pass through its terminal in the first six months of 2013 had been on a par with 2012 numbers, adding that it is expecting 2% passenger growth this year. The airport says it is expecting more traffic in the second half of the year once Croatia becomes an official EU member state.
