World Sudoku Championships Held in Croatia


More than 150 international teams descended on Croatia for the 7th World Sudoku Championships which were held in conjunction with the 22nd World Puzzle Championships at Uvala Scott in Kraljevica on the northern Adriatic coast.

25-year-old Polish engineer Jan Mrozowski defeated his Japanese opponent in the final to be crowned World Sudoku Champion for the third time, reported daily newspaper Jutarnji list.

Mrozowski graduated last week from Krakow University of Technology, where he had an athletic scholarship because of the success in Sudoku.
