With a lot of businesses in Croatia shutting up for 2 weeks over the Christmas period, where are those Croats fortunate enough to travel abroad for the holidays going?
Brochures are still flying out the door at travel agencies in the country as the holiday season fast approaches. “Compared to last year there is slightly more interest and slightly more travellers,” Travel agent Martina Ljustina told dnevnik.hr.
The most popular destinations among Croats this year are: Austria, France, UK and the Czech Republic. As hundreds leave the country over Christmas and New Years, a large number of tourists will be entering. Bookings have been solid for Croatia’s Adriatic coast over the holiday period.
