[VIDEO] Croatian Teen Becomes Youngest Goalscorer in UEFA Europa League History

CroatiaDinamo Zagreb teen Ante Ćorić (17) has re-written history last night, becoming the youngest player ever to score in the UEFA Europa League…

When the Croatian U-18 international netted home Dinamo’s 5th in their 5-1 annihilation of Romanian side Astra at Maksimir stadium last night, he became, at age 17 years and 157 days, the youngest goalscorer in Europa League history. Ćorić broke a record set by Everton striker Romelu Lukaku who was 17 years and 222 days.

“I was not nervous when I came on in the second half. I scored, just how I thought I would,” said the teen.

A massive future in the game, as Croatia Week wrote about here earlier this year, is predicted for Ćorić.
