Sundance

Croatian short film ‘Belladonna’, edited by Dubravka Turić and produced by Zdenka Gold, has been included in the short-film competition at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival…

‘Belladonna’, which won Best Short in the Orizzonti (Horizons) competition of the 72nd Venice Film Festival this year, will represent Croatian film at the festival which was founded by Robert Redford. The 2016 Sundance Film Festival will be held from 21-31 January 21-31 2016 in Park City, Salt Lake City.

Belladonna, starring Aleksandra Naumov, Lana Barić, Nada Đurevska, Anita Matković and Dražen Kühn in lead roles, is the story of three different women of different ages and origins who meet in an ophthalmologist’s waiting room. The tragedy that one of them suffered unexpectedly strips away their differences and, for a moment, unites them.
