Tottenham Hotspurs Chasing Croatian Midfielder

The agent for Croatian footballer Anas Sharbini says that his client is on the verge of signing with English premier league side Tottenham Hotspurs.
The former Hajduk Split and Rijeka midfielder is currently playing for Ittihad in the Saudi Professional League, and his agent Need Koznic says that the London club are on the verge of agreeing a deal for his services.
“Al Ittihad and Tottenham are talking, I can only say that the English really want Anas, only the clubs just have to agree,” said Koznic to Saudi newspaper Al-Awsat.
Sharbini (25) has represented Croatia at various age group levels and has even won a call up to Croatia’s national side as cover for injuries during the Euro 2008 campaign.
