The World’s Best Airlines in 2017 Revealed

Qatar Airways have claimed the No.1 spot as the World’s Best Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards which have just been released.

Qatar Airways, which won the award in 2011, 2012 and 2015, also won Best Airline Business Class, as well as placing in the top 10 for Best Cabin Staff, Best In-flight Entertainment, World’s Cleanest Aircraft Cabins, Best Airline Economy Class and Best Airline First Class.

Qatar No.1 this year

Singapore Airlines was ranked No.2 this year, up one place from 2016. Six Asian airlines featured in the top 10 this year – ANA All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air, Hainan Airlines, and Garuda Indonesia.

Emirates, which launched a daily service to Zagreb this month, was ranked 4th.

Croatia’s national carrier Croatia Airlines failed to rank in this year’s main list but was ranked 6th in the Best Airlines in Eastern Europe. Aerofloat was ranked No.1 in Eastern Europe, with LOT Polish Airlines in second spot.
