The Guardian’s 25 of the Best Clubs in Europe Features Croatian Nightspot

BBOne Croatian club has made British daily newspaper The Guardian’s 25 of the best clubs in Europe – chosen by the experts – list…

The Guardian has asked some of world’s top DJs, label managers and promoters to help compile a list of the best places to party at in Europe, with one Croatian night spot – Barbarellas in Tisno – sneaking onto the list.

Barbarellas is run by the guys behind The Garden Festival (which hosts its final edition in summer 2015) in Tisno – also home to a Soundwave, Electric Elephant and Stop Making Sense. At the old Garden site in Petrčane, Barbarellas was an indoor club with retro-1970s decor, but now it has moved it’s an outdoor club that runs until 6am. The Barbarellas after-parties are legendary: DJing to a great crowd under the stars and watching the sun rise over the stunning Dalmatian coast. It’s definitely one of my favourite clubs in the world, with a unique atmosphere, and I can’t wait to be back there this summer – wrote The Guardian. (pic: watchthegardengrow.eu)
