Looks like winter will finally arrive this week in Croatia, with temperatures down to -20°C forecast for parts of the country…

The State Met Office have issued a ‘yellow’ warning for much of the country as extremely low temperatures are set to hit this week. It will be mainly dry, but very cold, with morning temperatures dropping to as low as -20°C in the west of the country.

There could also be a chance of light snow later this week, although that could change. It will be at its coldest in the Delnice on Tuesday when temperatures are expected to drop to -18°C.

Not even Dalmatian coast will escape the chill that will arrive this week. Temperatures in Split are set to drop to around -3°C overnight. So wherever you are in the country wrap up warm this week.
