The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Embassy of the Republic of Austria and the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation, in cooperation with the Croatian National Bank, are jointly inviting you to the 3 Zagreb Forum on Wednesday, 13 November 2013, from 12.00 to 14.00 hours, in the Round Hall of the National Bank.

The conference entitled:

Investment Policies – Sharing Experiences in Attracting FDI’s
The Swiss Model and Best Practices – Croatian Opportunities

brings together professionals and experts from public service and private sector in an effort to find methods to achieve a sustainable development model for the Croatian economy and contribute to improving the business climate and stimulating foreign investments.

After a welcome address by gthe CNB Governor Boris Vujčić, H.E. State Secretary, Ms Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia, Mr Branko Grčić, will give a lecture on the Swiss Experience and the New Investment Policy in Croatia.

The conference will be followed by a panel discussion on how to stimulate investments in practice and focusing on concrete experiences at regional level, attended by Mr. Hans Marti, Department of Economic Promotion in Canton Zug, Mr. Predrag Štromar, Prefect of the County of Varaždin, Mr. Dino Dogan, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hrvatski Telekom and Mr. Christoph Schöfböck, Member of the Board, Erste&Steiermärkische Bank. Moderation by Mr. Damir Novinić, Head of the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness (AIK).
