Stimac Lets Players Loose On The Town After Serbia Victory

Croatia coach Igor Stimac let his players loose on the town last night after their 2:0 victory over Serbia at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium.

After the match the players munched through pizza in the changing rooms and sung before showering up and heading out to Zagreb’s Maredo club. With another qualifier against Wales in just a few days time, Stimac was not putting any restrictions on his boys.

“I don’t want to stop them! They deserved it. The players can go out and drink. They can even drive after two or three beers,” said Stimac, alluding to the incident with midfielder Sammir, who was recently arrested for driving over the limit.
