Snowman Demolished For Not Having Building Permit

Locals in the small village of Oborovo (Zagreb County) were left flabbergasted after the local council sent in a bulldozer to demolish a snowman locals had made – because it did not have a building permit.

After heavy snowfall last week, a group of locals decided to have some fun and built a 6 metre high snowman. The giant snowman soon become a hit attraction, with families travelling from the city to have a photo beside it. The council soon stepped in though, with a bulldozer, and decided that the 6 metre tall snowman was built illegally and disrupting traffic and knocked it down, much to the dismay of locals who even claimed it had become a tourist hit for the tiny village.
