Smoking Minister Tells Croats to Cut Out the Cigarettes

Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister Radimir Cacic has again caused controversy with his cash saving tips for the citizens of Croatia.

Earlier in the year Cacic, who is also the country’s Minister of Economy, told Croats to talk on their mobile phones less so they could cope with the price rises in electricity and power bills. This time Cacic has attacked the nations smokers after a poor turn out last night for Dinamo Zagreb’s UEFA Champions League opener with FC Porto.

“You can stop smoking and save for a ticket to the match”, said Cacic denying that the price of the tickets were to blame for the poor attendence at Maksimir stadium. Cacic himself is a smoker.
