Shooter Snježana Pejčić Sets New World Record

spCroatian shooter Snježana Pejčić has won a gold medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions women’s event at the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol) in Changwon, Korea…

Not only did Pejčić win gold, but her score of 463 in the final was a new world record and gave her a comfortable victory over Italy’s Petra Zublasing and Germany’s Selina Gschwandtner. The new world record goes with the European record Pejčić set on Saturday with a shot total of 420.8.

Pejčić, who took up shooting at the age of 15, greatest success to date was at the 2008 Summer Olympics where she earned a bronze medal.
