Robert Prosinečki Leaves Turkish Job

Prosinečki was back in Zagreb for Christmas, where he spoke to daily Jutarnji list about severing ties with the club after 17 matches this season.

“A the start of the New Year we need to finalise details of the termination of the contract, and then that is the end of my Turkish story,” said the former Barcelona and Real Madrid midfield wizard.

“What can I say, it is the same if they sacked me or I resigned. I told the club I can no longer be the coach, that they need to find a new coach,” explained Robi, who leaves Kayserispor in 17th spot in the league.
