Peter Gabriel’s Croatian Concert Cancelled

peter gabrielFamous English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, who was set to make his Croatian concert debut next month in Zagreb as part of his Back To Front tour with his original band, will now play in Belgrade instead due to problems with the concerts promoters.

“Eventim Croatia with regret announce that the Peter Gabriel concert in Zagreb, scheduled for 5 October at the Arena Zagreb, has been cancelled due to the insolvency of the concerts organisers Adria Entertainment,” said the statement.

Gabriel, who rose to fame as the lead vocalist Genesis before forging an impressive solo career, will play at the Kombank Arena in Belgrade on the same day. Those who purchased tickets for the Zagreb concert will be able to use them in Belgrade. Gabriel’s biggest hit was “Sledgehammer” which is the most played music video on MTV in its history.
