Over €1 Million Raised for Flood Victims

Companies, associations and citizens have donated 5.6 million kuna (800,000 EUR) in 48 hours on the account of the Red Cross, whilst another 2.7 million kuna has been (300,000 EUR) collected via the telephone help line number. 426,476 citizens so far have donated to the victims of the flood which have ravaged the region of Slavonia.

Besides monetary support, Croatians from all over the country have sent help via the way of food, clothing, hygiene and parcels. The Croatian FA have also come to the party, but announcing that they will donate all the gate proceedings from the friendly match later this month against Mali in Osijek to the victims of the floods, which has seen over 1,000 go homeless.
