Nearly 40% More Cars Sold in 2014 in Croatia

SONY DSCThere has been a surge in the number of new vehicles being purchased in Croatia, according to data from agency Promocija Plus

A total of 21,133 new vehicles were registered in the first six months of 2014, an increase of 37.3%, or 5,749 cars, from the same period last year, said the agency. June saw the biggest spike in sales, with 4,269 new cars registered, 33.8% more than June 2013. Volkswagen is still the most popular car make sold in the country with 3,336 sold in the first six months of this year. Opel and Skoda are in second and third place respectively.
