Most Unusual Baby Names Given in the Croatian Capital

Croatians tend to like sticking to traditional names when it comes to naming newborns.

Names from the Bible once again dominated the list of the most popular names given in 2016, with Luka, Marko, Jakov, Ivan and Peter comfortably the TOP 5.

When it came to girls the trend for short, 3-letter names continued to be popular with Mia, Ema and Ana in the TOP 5.

There were however an increasing number of more ‘unusual’ names given in 2016. Here are some of the more ‘innovative’ names given in the Croatian capital Zagreb, as srednja.hr reports.
