Most Beautiful Croatian in National Costume Outside Croatia Competition

27 girls from 21 countries will compete for the title of the Most Beautiful Croatian in National Folk Costume Outside of Croatia next month.

Contestants this year will again arrive from the likes of Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Chile, Hungary, Paraguay, New Zealand, Germany, Montenegro, USA, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, and Slovenia.

The event, which is organised by the Stećak Association in Bosnia and will take place this year from 27 June to 2 July 2017, is aimed at connecting Croatians from all over the world, as well as preserving and promoting traditional Croatian culture.

Olivia Sumich (New Zealand) and Sara Hjeltnes (Belgium)

The beauty pageant final will take place on 1 July 2017 at 19:00 in Tomislavgrad.

Tajna Maric Langlois (Australia) and Nikoletta Greguricz (Hungary)

The rules state that girls need to be between 18 and 30 years of age, of Croatian origin, and must wear the folk costume from the place where they or their ancestors originate from. Internet voting is also open on the competition Facebook Page for Miss Photogenic.
