Marin Cilic Wins 9th ATP Title In Zagreb

Croatia’s number one tennis player Marin Cilic won his 9th ATP tournament on Sunday, when he beat Austria’s Jurgen Melzer 6:3, 6:1 in the final of the PBZ Zagreb Indoors in the Croatian capital.

Cilic (24) was the tournament’s number one seed, proving too strong for Melzer in front of his home crowd. It was Cilic’s 3rd PBZ Zagreb Indoors title. Earlier in the day 2nd seeds Julian Knowle & Filip Polasek beat Croatians Ivan Dodig and Mate Pavic 6-3, 6-3 to win the doubles title.
