Niko Kovač has called in NK Rijeka defender Marko Lešković for Croatia’s friendly against Gibraltar and their Euro 2016 clash with Italy next week…
Lešković has been called in to replace Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren, who withdrew from both matches due to an abdominal tear. A similar injury ruled out the centre back from Croatia’s fixtures against Bulgaria and Azerbaijan last October.
Croatia face Gibraltar in Varaždin on Sunday, before facing Italy at an empty Poljud stadium in Split on June 12.
