Joss Stone Entertains Croatian Crowd

English soul singer-songwriter and actress Joss Stone has not disappointed the large crowd who have turned up to see her perform for the second time at the Arena in Pula, Croatia last night…

Stone, who held the second of her 2-night concert on Saturday evening in front of more than 2,000 fans, had time to enjoy some local fish specialities, and even played with some local tambura players on stage as she entertained the crowd during the Croatian leg of her ‘Total World Tour’, which will see her perform in close to 200 countries.

Stone rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions. Her second album, the similarly multi-platinum Mind Body & Soul, topped the UK Albums Chart for one week and spawned the top ten hit “You Had Me”, Stone’s most successful single on the UK Singles Chart to date. Both the album and single received one nomination at the 2005 Grammy Awards, while Stone herself was nominated for Best New Artist, and in an annual BBC poll of music critics.
