International Garden Show ‘Floraart’ Opens in Zagreb

The international garden show ‘Floraart’ has opened in the Croatian capital Zagreb…

The 51st edition of the popular garden show is being held at Zagreb’s Bundek Park until 5 June 2016. This year there will be 217 exhibitors, with 18 international exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia and the United States.

The Croatians and internationals will exhibit flowers, cacti, substrates and seeds, machinery, and gardening equipment and more during the week. Visitors can see dry, silk and paper flowers, flower equipment, paintings, collages and scarves with floral themes. They will also be able to sample healthy food and medicinal herb products.

There will also be an entertainment programme throughout the week, including activities for the kids. Last year more than 300,000 people visited Floraart in Zagreb. Entry is free.
