How Croatia Voted

Croatian presidential candidates Ivo Josipović and Kolinda Grabar Kitarović will face a runoff on 11 January after they finished neck and neck after the first round of voting on Sunday…

Josipović (38.46%) edged rival Grabar Kitarović (37.22%) by just 1.24%, with Croatia’s youngest ever presidential candidate Ivan Sinčić 3rd with 16.42% of the votes. Grabar Kitarović, representing the HDZ party, won in 13 counties and the diaspora, whilst Josipović (SDP) won in 7 counties and the city of Zagreb. Here is how the country voted:
