Hangar 18 – First Croatian Mobile Phone Manufacturers

Hangar 18, a tech firm out of the northern city of Koprivnica, have become the first Croatian manufacturer of mobile phones, or at least parts of them…

Manufacturing of the mobile phones will be done in China, but the development of devices will done by Hanger 18 in Croatia. The Croatian firm has teamed up with Chinese company Shenzhen Sumvier Technology from Shenzhen, who will perform three of the five steps in manufacturing process, whilst Hanger 18 will complete the other two. The phones will be sold worldwide.

Hangar 18 already have their own line of mobile and smartphones under the Noa brand which are sold in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia.

Hangar 18 and Shenzhen Sumvier Technology have already presented together at the ‘Asia Expo Electronics’ in Hong Kong and will shortly release their new Noa series phone on the market. The phone’s features include a 5.5-inch screen, 3GB of RAM, and fingerprint reader. The price of the device is expected to be no more than 2,000 kuna.

The first ‘Croatian mobile phone’ was released two years ago by HG Spot (Forcebook Ultraphone).
