‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ Open Air Film Marathon in Zagreb Square this Friday Night

Organised by the Austria Cultural Forum, ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ film marathon is a tribute to historic and contemporary amateur film production. The beginnings of Zagreb amateurism cinema date back to 1928 when Maximilian Paspa founded the film section of the Zagreb Photo Club, which several years later became independent in Kinoklub Zagreb.

Kinoklub Zagreb is one of the oldest active film clubs in the world. Throughout its long history it has functioned as a place of innovation and experiment, such as its Genre Experimental Film Festival, which was a festival that took place between 1963 and 1970, and was the result of discussions on the concept of anti-film carried out in the early 60s.

On the night of 10 July Kinoklub Zagreb and UrbanFestival 13 will present the film marathon ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ on FranjoTuđman square in Zagreb. Check out what is going on below:
