Julius Meinl’s World Poetry Day initiative

No such thing as a free lunch, or a free coffee for that matter.

On Tuesday 21 March 2017 coffee will be free at cafes across Croatia, if you are prepared to come up with a poem, song, lyrics, thought or phrase written on a piece of paper in return.

Croatia will once again be one of over 30 countries taking part in the Julius Meinl pay with a poem initiative to celebrate International Poetry Day on 21 March 2017.

Free coffee will be served all day at more than 250 cafes across Croatia to those who are prepared to get creative.

This will be the fourth year in row that Croatia has been involved in Julius Meinl’s international Poetry Project.

To find out which cafes in Croatia and Europe will be taking part visit the official website event here to search (half way down the page).
