Forbes Owner Invests in Growing Croatian Company

CroatiaHong Kong tycoon Tak Cheung Yam, who heads the company which are now majority shareholders in Forbes Media, has invested in Croatian business Rimac Automobili, reports Poslovni dnevnik

Cheung Yam, via the company that he chairs – Integrated Asset Management – will partner the producers of the world’s fastest electric luxury car after investing one million euros in Rimac Automobili, and is now a board member of the Sveta Nedjelja firm. Owner Mate Rimac is happy to now have a second investment partner involved in his ever-expanding business. Columbian energy mogul and car enthusiast Frank Kanayet Yepes invested in the company earlier this year.

Rimac automobili produced the world’s first electric super car, the Concept One. The battery-powered vehicle boasts more than 1,000 Hp and reaches a top speed of 190 Mph and has already won a host of innovative awards, and has since developed the electric bike ‘Greyp G-12’ and are working on developing the world’s first electric yacht.
