Croats occupy the top 3 places in Forbes magazine’s latest list of the richest people in the region…
Retail mogul and owner of Croatian supermarket chain Konzum, Ivica Todorić, is number one on the list, followed by distribution and logistics baron Branko Roglić in second place. Major owner of food and nutrition company Atlantic grupa, Emil Tedeschi, was listed in third spot, with Serbian businessman Miroslav Mišković in fourth.
Todorić’s firm Agrokor owns Croatia’s largest supermarket chain Konzum and food brands Belje, Jamnica, Ledo, Jana, PIK and Zvijezda. His net worth, which does not include Konzum, is estimated at 3.7 billion kuna (430 million EUR).
According to the list Slovenia’s wealthiest couple are Iza and Samo Login, owners of development company Outfit7. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s highest ranking person on the list was Izudin Ahmetlić, whose owns oil company Hifa grupa. Second is Senad Džambić, owner of retail chain Bingo. The wealthiest Macedonian on the list was construction and metal tycoon Minčo Jordanov.
