First Zip Line Over the Sea in Europe Opens in Crikvenica

Not everyone is content from just chilling out on the beach catching rays and going for a dip…

Some good news for those who love to get their adrenaline with news that the first zip line over the sea in Europe set to open in Crikvenica, which is located near Rijeka on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, on 24 June 2016.

Zip line tours are becoming popular vacation activities and Croatia already offers a few, with the most well known race down the canyon of the famous Cetina River at up to 65 km/h on a steel wire rope, secured with a belt. Now, just in time for the summer the first zip line which races over the sea in Europe has opened for business in Crkvenica thanks to Zip line Kačjak. Visitors can get a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful Kačjak peninsula from 35-metres up and race 500 metres down above one the most beautiful seas in Europe.
