First Crowdfunded Holiday Home in Croatia Goes Live on Indiegogo

Heart of Istria project

A unique project – the building of a luxury holiday home in the Mediterranean for everyone to enjoy – has gone live on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.

The Heart of Istria project is the first ever crowdfunded holiday home. Heart of Istria will look to raise $560,000 via crowdfunding to build a luxury holiday home in Istria, Croatia.

“The idea is to create a luxury holiday home which will provide the experience of a 5-star hotel within the privacy of a standalone villa. The goal is for everyone to enjoy something they’d only dreamed of before”, Heart of Istria explained.

The modern 5-star villa, which will span over 200 square metres and include a heated swimming pool, fireplace, jacuzzi, and recreation rooms, will be situated in the heart of Istria. The villa will be able to accommodate up to 10 people at a time.

“This position is seen as ideal because it will provide peace and quiet not available in a coastal location, while enabling the guests to explore the whole of Istria since no point will be more than 30 kilometres away.”

The plan to to make the whole place environmentally friendly by powering it with solar panels. It will be pet friendly, have an onsite maid and butler, offer the ‘home you want’ experience with luxury beds and pillows, modern TV system with hundreds of channels in multiple languages and provide food and drinks through partnering local restaurants.

“The Heart of Istria team has the know-how: we have the knowledge and connections to navigate Croatian bureaucracy, to execute the plan and construct the villa. We want our guests to enjoy themselves and we’re working hard to make every visitor’s holiday just how we’d like ours! So we promise the best holiday ever and a 5-star hotel experience in a private villa.”
