First Business Centre in Zagreb Opens it Doors

puThe first ever business centre, which will provide entrepreneurs with a range of free professional services, has officially opened in Zagreb…

Plavi Ured – Zagreb Business Centre has opened its doors at Vodnikova 12 / 2 in downtown Zagreb and will act as a one-stop shop for business people in the capital. There will be free professional advice in a number of areas of business for those using the centre, including expert help areas such as grants, self-employment, EU funds, project management, finance, innovation, marketing, law, sales, and public relations.

“In Zagreb there are around 43,000 entrepreneurs and tradespeople who now have a central place where they can obtain information. We want to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneur culture, and entrepreneurs must know that they are welcome and have our support, and we will make their jobs easier, or help them with writing EU projects,” said Mirka Jozić, head of the City Office for Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship at the opening.

“I thank the City of Zagreb, and especially the deputy Major who recognised the need for entrepreneurs to have a place where they can be informed about how to start a company, preparation of projects or how to get support from the EU,” said Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts Gordan Maras.

Deputy Mayor of Zagreb Sandra Švaljek invited entrepreneurs in the capital to visit Plavi Ured.

“It is Zagreb’s first business centre, and it would be optimal to open another two, in the western and eastern part of the city,” said Švaljek.
