Final Fate Date Set For Ante Gotovina

Croatian Generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac will find out if their appeal has been successful when the Hague Court hands down its final verdict in their case on 16 November.
In mid-April last year, the Hague court sentenced the two Croatian generals for war crimes, with Gotovina receiving 24 years, and Markac 18 years in prison. The pair’s defence team appealed the decision.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled for 9 am on 16 November.
