FIFA U-20 World Cup: Draw Sees Croatia Almost Certain To Make Last 8

The Croatian U-20 side has almost guaranteed itself a quarter-final spot at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey after a 1-1 draw in their second group match against Uzbekistan last night.

Croatia went behind in the 24th minute before Inter Milan striker Marko Livaja levelled the match in the 65th minute for the Croatians, tapping home a curled in free kick from just outside the six yard box. Croatia, who have 4 points at the top of the group with Uzbekistan, now face New Zealand on Saturday in their final pool match. The top two teams from each group go through to the last 8.
