A severe weather warning has been issued for Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary tomorrow, with the possibility of large-scale damage, according to the weather website Meteoalarm.
With record temperatures expected in Croatia on Thursday, and it set to be the countries hottest day of the year, it is all about to turn pear-shaped on Friday warns the met office with rain, hail, strong winds and even tornadoes along the Adriatic coast. Experts warn that Friday night to Saturday morning will produce the most dangerous weather. Those aboard boats are cautioned to take particular care and to keep an eye on forecasts. With 40 degrees Celsius predicted for most of the country on Thursday, drops of 20 degrees will be felt in some places late on Friday.
