€115 Million More VAT Collected in Croatia in 2015

Director of the Croatian Tax Authorities Boris Šuvak says that so far this year 900 million kuna (117 million euros) more VAT has been paid than in the same period last year. Up until the middle of March 2015 18.1 billion kuna (2.4 billion euros) in VAT had been paid in Croatia, up from 17.2 million kuna in the same period in 2014. In 2013 it became law for trading companies to introduce fiscal cash registers.
