Dutch Apologise For Match-Fixing Claims

A Dutch first division assistant coach who accussed Dinamo Zagreb of match fixing has issued an apology.

Youri Mulder, who is assistant coach at Dutch side FC Twente, accused Dinamo Zagreb players of betting against themselves when they lost to Lyon last year and PSG this year in the UEFA Champions League, whilst he was working as a commentator on Dutch TV.

“If the comments in any way caused damaged or offended GNK Dinamo or their fans, then I want to apologise to the entire club and it’s fans,” was the apology the club received this yesterday.
