On Thursday Dubrovnik Mayor Andro Vlahušić met with Eric Jousse, curator of the travelling exhibition ‘History in LEGO bricks’, who presented the project and the idea of reconstructing the city of Dubrovnik and the city’s heritage in LEGO bricks.

The exhibition has so far achieved remarkable success in several cities around the word, and is currently open in Geneva until February 2016. The possibility of hosting the same project in the City of Dubrovnik, recreating the city’s Dubrovnik history and heritage in LEGO blocks was discussed at the yesterday’s meeting.

The basic concept is based on and intergenerational basis, In addition to the exhibition, a workshop would also be held and by participating in this project, the City of Dubrovnik would become part of the group of cities that have already had their own exhibitions, which would mean further promotion of the city through joint exhibitions in other cities.

Vlahušić said that the City of Dubrovnik were extremely interested in the project, mainly due to educating children about Dubrovnik’s heritage in an interesting way.
