Dubrovnik Airport Welcomes Millionth Passenger 5 Days Faster Than Last Year

Dubrovnik Airport on the Southern Dalmatian coast welcomed its one millionth passenger this morning (Sunday), five days before the date it reached the same milestone last year.

Alexandra Sandimirova arrived on board a flight from Moscow, and will spend the next four-days in the popular tourist city. Dubrovnik Airport, who have enjoyed 10% growth so far in August compared to 2012, are on track to beat last year’s passenger record of 1,380,470. “This season is going according to forecasts and even slightly better than planned, if this trend continues then we can expect a better year than it was in 2012,” said Dubrovnik Airport’s Roko Tolic.
