DAVIS CUP: Italy Knock Out Croatia (3-2)

Italy have knocked Croatia out of the Davis Cup. With the tie locked at 2-2 going into the final match, Italy’s Fabio Fognini has beaten Ivan Dodig in 4-sets to give Italy the win 3-2.

Croatia’s number one Marin Cilic gave Croatia hope in the tie after he outclassed Italy’s top seed Andreas Seppi, 6:3, 6:3, 7:5. Fognini however, with the crowd behind him, had too much for Dodig, winning 4:6, 6:4, 6:4, 6:4 to give knock Croatia out of the Davis Cup.
