Croatian Lighting Project ‘Jellyfish’ Wins International Award in Venice

A Croatian project has taken out an award at this year’s International Lighting Design Prize – Codega’ in Venice…

‘Meduza’ (Jellyfish), a marine lighting project in Čikat Bay, Lošinj, has won first prize in this year’s competition, it was announced in Venice. The award-winning specially designed lighting in the sea is located front of Lošinj’s Hotel Bellevue, in one of the most beautiful bays in Croatia. The design was made by award-winning lighting designer Dean Skira.

The Codega Prize is the international award given annually to the best solutions and achievements of excellence based on LED technology in Lighting Design projects.

This year there were over 140 projects which took part in the competition. Meduza picked up first prize in the category ‘Best LED Solution’.
