Croatian Island of Brač to Host 1st World Championship in Olive Picking

The Croatian island of Brač is set to host the 1st World Championship in Olive Picking.
Different country’s olive oil traditions will be represented at what is being billed as the 1st World Championship in Olive Picking in October next year.
The event is set to take place from 19 – 22 October 22 and will feature teams of 4 pickers (2 men and 2 women).
All equipment will be provided for the teams taking part, as well as tours of the island, dinners and other entertainment during the non-competitive part of the 4-day event.
