Croatian Island Named in World’s 10 Best by Travellers

World’s 10 best islands according to travellers

Leading US-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure have just announced the winners of its 2017 World’s Best Awards, including the best islands in the world.

This year, which is the 22nd annual awards, one Croatian island has featured in the top 10 best islands in the world.

The island of Hvar (& Dalmatian islands) has come in at No.9 on the list.

The rankings are based on the results of a reader survey from Travel + Leisure, in which participants rated their travel experiences.

Palawan in the Philippines was named the No.1 island in the world for 2017, just ahead of Hilton Head, South Carolina and Boracay island in the Philippines.
