Croatian Ice Hockey Fans Break World Noise Record

Croatia
Fans of Croatian KHL ice hockey side Medvescak have broken a world record on the weekend…

Medvescak’s fans broke the record for the loudest cheer at an Indoor Sports Stadium in the Pan Arena Ice Fever game against Lokomotiv from Yaroslavl. The record, previously set at 126 decibels by fans of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings in their Sleep Train Arena last November, was crushed by the thunderous throats of 15,200 Medvescak’s fans with the help of a megaphone in the second period of the game when they reached 130.02 decibels , reported Medvescak’s official website.

”I was on the bench at that moment, and when they started cheering I got goose bumps from how loud it was. Congratulations to all of the fans for that incredible atmosphere and for another record that we’ve broken. It was an incredible feeling”, said defenseman Sasa Martinovic. Listen to the record-breaking effort here
